How it works

Individual Study Plan

We’ll start by talking to determine just what you would like to achieve from the lessons. From this we’ll create an Individual Study Plan. This will be an outline of our starting point and what we aim to achieve from the lessons, with measurable targets going forward. It will also include your study timetable, designed to fit your schedule and timescale. Your lessons can focus on any – or all – of the four key skills: reading, writing, speaking, listening

I’ll adapt your lessons to meet your needs and address the areas you need to improve. This can include lessons on:

• English grammar
• build your vocabulary – understanding idioms and phrasal verbs
• improve your listening – understanding accents and dialect
• improve your speaking – fluency and pronunciation
• formal and informal writing – essay writing

Resources

All resources are provided by me. The course will be tailored to your specific needs, so it’s likely we will be dipping into a variety of different sources, both online and paper-based.

I strongly recommend that you study on a laptop rather than a mobile, and that you save your work into folders. I can help you with this if needed. I’ll also recommend good sources of sites with practice resources, which we will be using as self-study between lessons.

Fees

My fees are 160 AED per lesson. Lessons are 50 mins in length.

Fees to be paid in advance, by direct bank transfer or Paypal. Account details and payment instructions will be sent with your booking confirmation.
